About me

Hi there, I’m a space policy analyst and researcher based in the Washington, D.C. metro area. I specialize in matters related to space sustainability, applied public policy/ environmental economics, and space technology commercialization.

I’m currently working as a Technology Commercialization Engineer, at NASA Space Technology Mission Directorate (STMD) through BryceTech. In this role, I assess innovative inventions at NASA and identify commercial potential, partners, and provide commercialization strategies.

Previously, I was a Space Market Analyst at BryceTech. Here, I led analysis and created forecasts on emerging space technology trends, conducted research for industry reports such as the Start-Up Space and State of the Satellite Industry (SSIA) Reports. I advised on issues such as remote sensing capabilities (e.g. SAR, hyperspectral), aviation/ advanced air mobility, and LEO commercialization strategies for government and commercial clients.

I completed my MPA at the London School of Economics (LSE), where I applied environmental economics and public policy ideas to the space industry. My policy paper is on evaluating economic instruments as incentives for debris mitigation. I’m passionate about applied public policy: thinking about how the tragedy of the commons, common pool resource management, public management strategies and emissions trading schemes can work for the space industry.

During graduate school, I interned on Astroscale U.S.’ policy team. I researched issues related to space sustainability and applied environmental economics, such as incentives for space debris mitigation.

Previously, I worked at the Space Foundation, as their Government Affairs Associate. Here, I performed industry engagments with Congressional and govt. agencies. I coordinated webinars, started the bi-weekly space policy newsletter and the Start Here For Space series, and wrote policy reviews and white papers.

Prior to joining the Space Foundation, I interned on United Launch Alliance’s Government Affairs team and in the U.S. House of Representatives, at the Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi’s office.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service (BSFS) in Science, Technology & International Affairs (STIA) at Georgetown University, School of Foreign Service.
